Our Vision

We Explore a Universe Bigger Than the Universe.

Chemicals Change the World.

Penicillin saved an estimated 200 million lives. Approximately half of the protein in today's humans originated with nitrogen produced from the Haber-Bosch process. It's hard to imagine modern life without polymers of some kind. Medicines, fuels, batteries, semiconductors, liquid crystal displays…, the world we know would not exist without chemical discoveries.

Chemical Space.

An order of tens of thousands (104) of chemicals are currently being used in human life. An order of one hundred million (108) chemicals have been invented so far in chemical history. How many more are possible? In theory, the possible number of chemical compounds spans from 1060 to 10200 (called chemical space) generated by different combinations of elements, bond types, and structures, which is greater than the number of particles in the universe (1072 – 1087). Thus, we have experienced just a tiny fraction of chemical space, i.e., 10-50 percent at most.

One-Step Contribution to Spaceship.

Chemical discoveries have relied on human experience, knowledge, and experimentation. Many of them were accidental discoveries. We need something different to explore a universe bigger than the universe. What can be done? We have spent over a decade contributing to building the spaceship. We are now able to generate, scan, and analyze a massive number of chemical compounds automatically at the quantum level.

We know it’s just a beginning, but it has opened the gate of infinite possibilities.
